he always strikes me as so awkward and shy in this test. good thing he dropped the idea. it wouldn't have gelled with the rest of the film.
I feel like he used the duke's costume and mannerisms for the "The Great Dictator". I see alot of Hynkel in this especially in the scene right he sends Schultz the the concentration camp when he is crying and has the cape.
One another note, he looks so young and vulnerable during the close up shots. Like he's not entirely sure what he is doing or why he is doing it.
