Christmas card signed by Charlie, c. mid-1920s

    1. I found this on an auction website and the date comes from the original caption. I realize the date could be wrong, but I have seen similar signatures from this time period, including this one from 1928:

    2. When I was 13 years old (In 1974), I received a handmade and personal Xmas card from Charlie and Oona. This was after I wrote him continuously over a period of 3 years, from ages 10-13. Yes, I was obsessive! I'll never forget the day I received it--I was home from school due to an ice storm, yet somehow the mailman got to our house. What a day!
