i'm getting ever so excited about the centenary. less than a year away! -- and at the same time it's almost impossible to believe. for me, things that happened a hundred years ago are more 19th than 20th century. it will take some time to get used to the thought. especially since next year will also bring the centenary of the beginning of WWI!!! spooky!
