    Is that L. B. Mayer across the table from them? I was just reading a newspaper account of Charlie's fight with Mayer at the Alexandria Hotel in 1920, after Mayer criticized Charlie's treatment of Mildred.

    I'm not sure if it's Mayer or not. Although he is smoking a cigar. This photo on Corbis is from a different angle:
