They always seem very chummy in photos. Patrice Chaplin wrote in her book that Oona was jealous of her and thought she was "too Italian around Charlie." Who knows if this is true. Sophia adored both of them and thought enough of Oona to confide to her about her secret marriage at the time. However, Oona did once tell a friend that she would always be jealous when Charlie spoke to other women for long periods of time. In Oona's defense, who could blame her if she were jealous? It was Sophia Loren, for crissakes. I'm sure there were times on that set that Charlie wished he were a much younger man.
