The Witzel (top) and Hartsook (bottom) sessions are unique because they are, to my knowledge, the only times Chaplin posed at a professional photographer's studio in his Tramp costume.
To my knowledge, there was only one Hartsook session. The 1914 Witzel session includes photos in and out of costume and I believe they are all from the same session.
But there was more than one session with each studio, do you agree? Spanning 1914-16 or so?

DeleteWasn't there a later Witzel session?
DeleteYes, c. 1922-23, but he didn't pose in costume.
