Wow! I can't wait to read this. Have you read the author's books on the Keystones & Essanays?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading it as well. I think this is Hayde's first book. You must be talking about the books by Neibaur on the Keystones and Essanays. I have not read them because they are a bit on the pricey side. I keep hoping I will find a cheap copy of one or the other someplace.
DeleteJessica, thank you very much for this post! I'd like your readers to know that if they order from the link you posted, to be sure and add the discount code CHAPLIN5 - it's good for $5 off the cover price through November.
DeleteThis is my fourth book, and second on a silent comedian (the first was "LITTLE ELF: A Celebration of Harry Langdon," which I co-authored with Chuck Harter). I hope you'll consider writing a review of CHAPLIN'S VINTAGE YEAR on your fine blog!
Thank you so much, Mr. Hayde. I can't wait to read the book & would be happy to write a review when I am finished. Thanks also for letting us know about the discount.
DeleteAfter I wrote the comment about this being your first book, I immediately thought I should have said your first "Chaplin" book because I wasn't so sure that it was your very first book. I apologize for that!
Jessica
