Charlie on vinyl

It's Record Store Day here in the U.S. Go out and support your local independent record shop.

Here are a few from my own collection:

  1. I have that yellow one, too! For years it was the only way I could listen to that great piece of music played in the movie when he is feeding Chester Conklin while Conklin was stuck in the gears of the big machine. Now I have a CD with someone doing great justice to all Chaplin's movie pieces.

  2. I'm laughing so hard right now. My bestfriend and I didn't know about this and listened to records with music from the 20's and 30's on them all last night. She has a vinyl of the Live Strings orchestra doing 70's pop covers of Charlie Chaplin songs including "Eternally", "Blue Eyes", "The Spring Song" and even some music from the Idle Class.
