oh man….sick and wrong, yet entertaining as well. Nicely filmed in Black and White. Out here in CA, they are going to be showing "The Great Dictator" in Niles at the old theater there this weekend. I find it an odd choice, because the Niles theater shows silents every weekend, mostly shorts, and lots of Chaplin, but a sound film is rarely shown. I am thinking of going over there just to experience the film with an audience, albeit a small one. The Niles theater has the BEST silent movie museum and gift shop attached to it, too.
I've always wanted to visit Niles especially during the Chaplin Days festival they have every year. It is odd that they are showing The Great Dictator. I know you'll enjoy it if you go. I saw that one once in a theater. It's always more fun to see those films with an audience, as you know.
