Chaplin treats German actor Hans Albers to champagne in his dressing room following a performance of Liliom at the Volksbühne in Berlin, March 1931

Afterward Chaplin invited Albers to his suite at the Adlon where they talked until dawn about plans for a possible Liliom film.
