Both so cute, and Charlie, of course, hamming it up. Wonder if he got her presents each year? Everything I've read said both didn't really celebrate things like that, but I can't see Paulette not taking advantage of a gifting possibility!
It's funny you mention that because I recently saw a little snippet in one of the fan magazines or somewhere about Charlie and Paulette dancing a rumba at one of the nightclubs when they were celebrating Paulette's birthday. So I guess they did occasionally celebrate such things. It's too bad their dancing was never caught on tape because they evidently danced beautifully together.
