Monkey was a family pet in Hollywood and was flown over when the Chaplins moved to Switzerland in 1952.

      There is a story in one of the books or documentaries that after Charlie died one of his favorite cats laid down on his chest not letting anyone near him. I don't know if it's true but I like to think that it is.

    I never knew this was a color photo! I've only seen this in black and white, nice name for a cat by the way Monkey lol
