  2. I had to research this because I wasn't sure myself. Evidently "The Old Oaken Bucket" is the title of a poem by Samuel Woodworth and refers to a bucket farm people used to draw well water.

  3. It was a song as well whose mood is nostalgic for the good old days when the old oaken bucket hung by the well.
